Ich habe dem Kitharisten Alexanderaus Laodikeia, einem vortrefflichen Mann und unseremFreund, Gesandten seitens des Vereins der DionysischenTechniten von Ionien und dem Hellespontsowie der Techniten um Dionysos Kathegemon habeich es gewährt, bei Euch an dem hervorragendsten Platz eine Stele zuweihen, auf der aufgezeichnet werden die von mir den Technitenverliehenen Privilegien. Da er nun ja auch nach Rom entsandtworden ist und da der Senat einen Beschluss hierübergefasst hat, wünsche ich nun, dass Ihr darauf bedacht seid, dassder bei Euch hervorragendste Platz reserviert werde, auf dem dieStele (mit der Inschrift) über die Techniten geweiht wird. Ich habe unten beigefügtdie Kopien des Briefes von mir und des Beschlusses des Senates- - -(Senatsbeschluss, nicht erhalten)

und zeigte auch das Wohlwollen, das Ihr mir gegenüber habt.Ich wünsche nun, dass Ihr wisst, dass ich gemäß der Vorlage desRates meine Meinung dahingehend kundtue, dass, welche Privilegienund Ehren und Befreiungen von Liturgien Euch aus Verehrungfür Dionysos und die Musen und wegen EurerInstitution der Senat und unsere Magistrate oderPromagistrate gewährt haben, auch ich siegewähre, auf dass Ihr diese (Privilegien) habt und, wie auch schon früher,von jeglicher Liturgie befreit seid undvon Militärdiensten, Ihr auch keine Abgaben oder Tributezahlt, Ihr von keinem belästigt werdetmit Verpflegung oder Unterkunft, Ihrkeinen Gast aufzunehmen gezwungen seid.Damit aber auch - - -- - -aufzeichnen - - -- - -
